Thanks for wanting to know more about the freelancer scheme. The details of the scheme are being finalised and I will be happy to send you the full information pack and details as soon as our Trustees have approved it.
This is a completely new level of ITF membership that we’re launching and we’re very excited about it. It’s come about from strong feedback we’ve had from individual freelancers who said they wanted to get ahead and stay ahead in a tough and competitive jobs market. Our response was to create a level of membership that would give individual freelancers a number of things – access to training at lower fees; invitations to networking opportunities and events that could lead to making new contacts and opportunities; and regular contact with freelancers where we can share news, ideas and resources.
Over time, we’re aiming to create a strong freelance community that can learn and grow together. This is only the first step, but we hope you’ll join us, as we work alongside our colleagues in Pact, Skillset, BETR, screen agencies and Trustees to provide a membership and development opportunities that freelancers will find genuinely useful.
