Hi
I want to go freelance but need a few more strings to my bow. Am interested in editing and production and digital media. At the moment I am making short films, assisting with directing but don’t have the knowledge of final cut to do the editing. I would also be interested in presenting. There are a couple of courses I am intersted in but need to know where to get funding for these?

Hi Catherine
We’ve just launched a new scheme to enable freelancers to join ITF for £100 and then get a third off our training courses for their year of membership – contact rychard@indietrainingfund.com.
As you can see from our website, we offer low-cost short day and half-day courses on production, digital cross-platform, and creative development. Bursaries up to 80% are available from Skillset TV Freelance Fund for our multiplatform & management courses. If you need to know more, email your phone number to Rychard or myself (ian@indietrainingfund.com) and we’ll call you back, or you can ring us on 020 3487 0354
