Many thanks to Tiger Aspect’s Commercial Partnerships VP Claire Heys and Chantal Rickards (MEC Head of Branded Content) for sharing their expertise on Ad-Funded Content and Product Placement in the third of these new workshops.
The delegates greatly appreciated their invaluable insights:
‘Thoroughly well-researched and presented: succinct, clear and inspiring’ (Freelance Producer)
‘As an overview it was very comprehensive and for PP – how it moves forward as a relatively new idea ‘ (Darlow Smithson)
‘Really interesting examples and good overview’ (Baby Cow Productions)
Here are some of their tips on Product Placement.
The full Ad-Funded presentations can be accessed by delegates here.
The next of these ITF workshops will be in 2012 so register interest now.

Compliance: Keeping up to Date
28 May 2010
By Laura Clark
The sold out pilot of the newest edition to the short course programme was a resounding thumbs up. Belinda Copland and Ian McBride (Media Compliance Services) took delegates through a morning session of issues facing production staff who who may be expected to ensure compliance obligations are met, through a series of case studies and interactive discussion.
The course aimed to combat the fear of creativity being stifled in the name of compliance by giving delegates confidence and knowledge in establishing where the boundaries are. This highly cost-effective interactive course should help to avoid expensive and preventable mistakes.
What the delegates thought:
‘the seminar as a whole was very useful and well presented. It gave a good clear general overview to compliance in an engaging and informed way’ Leonora Chao, Pioneer Productions
‘very experienced and interesting speakers’ Kate Mayne, ITN
Delegates who attended the session can access additional course material
